Common repairsWhat owners tell us when they call about a washing machine. Any of them, on any Indesit model, starts with a test at your home.
These are codes we are called out for on Indesit appliances in the UAE. A code narrows the search — it does not name the broken part on its own, which is why every job starts with a test rather than a guess.
What it means
Drain fault. The machine failed to empty the drum within the time the control board allows, so the cycle stops with water still inside and the door stays locked shut. Indesit's own wording is 'waste pipe blockage or pump issue'. Usual causes, in order: blocked pump filter, kinked or blocked drain hose, standpipe too high, an object jamming the pump impeller, or a failed drain pump.
Usually
Blocked pump filter (coins, lint, hair clips), a kinked or blocked drain hose, or a silted-up wall drain. If those are clear, the drain pump or the pressure-sensing tube is the next suspect.
What it means
Motor circuit fault. The board drove the drum but did not get the rotation feedback it expected, so it stops the programme - the symptom is intermittent or no drum rotation. Most common cause on machines over about five years old is worn motor carbon brushes; also a jammed drum, a failed tachogenerator, motor winding failure, or wiring between motor and board.
Usually
Worn motor carbon brushes on brush-type motors, a loose motor loom connector, or a motor/board fault.
What it means
Pressure switch jammed on empty. The board asked the machine to fill but the water-level (pressure) system never reported the level rising, so the cycle stops. It specifically means 'no water level detected' - not any generic wrong level. Usual causes: the narrow pressure-switch hose blocked, kinked or detached (the single most common one), excess suds in the pressure chamber, or a failed pressure switch. If you can hear the machine filling, suspect the pressure system; if you hear no water at all, it is more likely a fill/supply problem (H2O) instead.
Usually
Detached, split or water-logged pressure hose between the tub and the level switch, a blocked pressure chamber, or a failed pressure switch/sensor.
What it means
Electronic control board fault. The main PCB is not operating correctly, so the machine will not run - commonly it fails to start or some or all functions cannot be selected. In Indesit service literature the specific trigger is usually a short-circuited motor triac on the board. Worth a first step: isolate at the mains for two minutes and restart, since F01 can clear if it was a transient supply event. If it returns, it needs engineer diagnosis - board replacement is expensive, so rule out wiring and moisture damage first.
Usually
Board-level failure, often after a power surge or moisture ingress; damaged wiring or a poor supply connection can also trigger it.

Call now · +971 58 869 5211Indesit reaches the UAE through a local distributor rather than a brand-run regional site, so its range is better described by format than by series name: front-load washing machines in 7kg, 8kg and 10kg, freestanding gas and electric cookers, built-in ovens, gas, domino and induction hobs, and slimline dishwashers.
Indesit parts in the UAE come through distributor channels rather than a brand-run regional store, so availability varies by component.
We confirm the exact part, its availability and the expected wait with you before the repair is approved. Where an original part is discontinued or slow to source, we say so and tell you what the alternative is before anything is fitted — including whether it is an OEM part or a high-grade equivalent.

Our inspection and fixing fee is AED 100. If any parts need replacing, they are charged on top — and only with your approval.
All prices exclude 5% VAT. If you decide not to go ahead after the inspection, the AED 100 is payable; if we cannot repair it at all, you pay nothing.
The same method on every Indesit washing machine — test first, agree any parts, repair, then the warranty.
Call or WhatsApp with the model number and what the appliance is doing. An error code helps.
The technician tests and confirms the fault before anything is replaced. No guessing.

We run the appliance in front of you, then the repair carries a 90-day warranty.
Straight answers to what people ask us about Indesit washing machines and dryers.
Yes. We handle Indesit washing machines, dishwashers, refrigerators and cookers across Dubai, Sharjah, Ajman and Abu Dhabi. We are an independent repair company and are not an agent for Indesit — if your appliance is still inside its purchase warranty, contact the retailer or brand channel first so you do not pay for something already covered.
F05 means the machine tried to pump the water out and did not manage it in time, so it stopped mid-cycle with water in the drum. Before calling anyone, switch it off at the wall, put a towel and a shallow tray down, and check the pump filter behind the small flap at the bottom front — coins, hair clips and lint are the usual culprits in UAE homes. Also check the drain hose is not kinked or pushed too far into the wall pipe. If the code returns after the filter is clean, the drain pump or its wiring usually needs attention and we can look at it.
The ones we are called out for most are F05, F02, F04 and F01, and each is explained on this page. A code narrows the search but does not name the broken part on its own, so every job starts with a test rather than a guess.

If it is still inside Indesit's own warranty, use Indesit's service channel first — an independent repair may affect that cover. Once that warranty has ended, we repair it at your home, and our own 90-day warranty covers the parts we fit and the work we do.
