Usually a failed heating element, a tripped thermal cut-out or a burnt-out oven thermostat. All three are stocked on our vans and replaced on the first visit in most cases.
Worn spark electrodes, a wet or blocked burner cap, a failed ignition module or a clogged jet. We clean, test the spark and replace only the part that has actually failed.
Treat this as urgent. Loose fittings, perished flexible hoses and worn valve seals all leak. We isolate, replace and then leak-test the whole line before restoring supply.
A failing thermocouple lets the safety valve shut the gas off. A yellow, lazy flame means an incorrect air-gas mix or a blocked jet — worth fixing quickly for safety and cooking quality.
Nearly always a drifting thermostat or a dead fan motor in a fan oven. We calibrate against a probe so the temperature you set is the temperature you actually get.
Dropped hinges, perished door seals and shattered inner glass all leak heat and waste gas or electricity. Hinges, seals and glass panels are all replaceable.

Usually not. It is normally a wet or misaligned burner cap, a worn spark electrode or a clogged jet — all inexpensive. Occasionally the ignition module has failed, which costs more but is still far cheaper than a new cooker.
Yes. Inner and outer door glass, hinges and door seals are all replaceable. A dropped door or perished seal wastes a lot of heat, so it is worth fixing rather than living with.
Oven thermostats drift with age, so a dial reading 180°C might actually be running at 220°C. We measure the true cavity temperature with a probe and replace or recalibrate the thermostat so the setting matches reality.
