Common repairsWhat owners tell us when they call about a washing machine. Any of them, on any Samsung model, starts with a test at your home.
These are Samsung codes documented consistently across its UAE-market models. A code narrows the search — it does not name the broken part on its own, which is why every job starts with a test.
What it means
Water supply error. The washer is not getting enough water within the time it allows. Some older models show the same fault as 4E.
Usually
A closed or partly closed tap, a kinked inlet hose, or blocked mesh filters where the hose meets the machine. Low water pressure in some buildings can trigger it too. If the supply is fine, the inlet valve is the next suspect.
Safe to check yourself
Check both taps are fully open and the hose is not kinked behind the machine.
What it means
Drain error. The water is not draining out of the drum within the expected time. Some older models show it as 5E.
Usually
Most often a blocked debris filter behind the small cover at the bottom front, or a kinked or blocked drain hose. If both are clear, the drain pump is usually failing.
Safe to check yourself
Switch off, put a towel and shallow tray down, and clean the debris filter at the bottom front.
What it means
Unbalanced load. The drum cannot balance the load safely enough to spin, so spinning is stopped or reduced. Some models show Ub.
Usually
A single heavy item — a bath mat, a duvet, a pair of jeans on their own. If it keeps happening with normal loads, worn shock absorbers or a levelling problem are likely.
Safe to check yourself
Redistribute the load, add or remove items so it can balance, and restart the spin.
What it means
Door error. The machine cannot confirm that the door is properly closed and locked, so it will not start or continue. Some models show dE or dE1.
Usually
Laundry caught in the door, a damaged door hook, or a failed door lock assembly.

Call now · +971 58 869 5211Most of our Samsung calls are for front-load washers and washer-dryers, side-by-side and French-door fridges, dishwashers and countertop microwaves.
The full model code — on the rating plate inside the door rim of a washer, or inside the fresh-food compartment of a fridge — identifies the exact parts, so it is worth finding before you call.
Samsung parts are matched to the full model code, including its suffix. We confirm the exact part, whether it is available and the expected wait with you before the repair is approved, and we tell you before fitting anything other than an original part.
Our inspection and fixing fee is AED 100. If any parts need replacing, they are charged on top — and only with your approval.
All prices exclude 5% VAT. If you decide not to go ahead after the inspection, the AED 100 is payable; if we cannot repair it at all, you pay nothing.
The same method on every Samsung washing machine — test first, agree any parts, repair, then the warranty.
Call or WhatsApp with the model number and what the appliance is doing. An error code helps.
The technician tests and confirms the fault before anything is replaced. No guessing.
The AED 100 fee covers the inspection and the fixing. Any part is priced first and fitted only with your approval.
We run the appliance in front of you, then the repair carries a 90-day warranty.
Straight answers to what people ask us about Samsung washing machines and dryers.
5C means the machine could not drain in time. Most of the time it is a blockage rather than a broken machine. Switch it off, put a towel and a shallow tray down, open the small cover at the bottom front and clean the debris filter — coins, hair clips and lint collect there. Check the drain hose is not kinked. If it still will not drain, the drain pump has usually failed, which is a straightforward repair for us.
The ones we are called out for most are 4C, 5C and dC, and each is explained on this page. A code narrows the search but does not name the broken part on its own, so every job starts with a test rather than a guess.

If it is still inside Samsung's own warranty, use Samsung's service channel first — an independent repair may affect that cover. Once that warranty has ended, we repair it at your home, and our own 90-day warranty covers the parts we fit and the work we do.
Usually on a sticker inside the door rim or on the back panel. Send a photo of that label on WhatsApp with what the washing machine is doing and any code on the display — the model number tells us which parts fit before we arrive.
