These are codes we are called out for on Electrolux appliances in the UAE. A code narrows the search — it does not name the broken part on its own, which is why every job starts with a test rather than a guess.
F1
What it means
F1 (and F2) on the display indicate a thermostat problem — the appliance cannot reliably sense and hold its set temperature. Unlike most laundry and dishwasher codes there is no user fix: Electrolux's stated advice is to request a service engineer and to quote the code when booking. Applies to Electrolux fridge freezers fitted with a digital display.

Failed or out-of-tolerance thermostat/temperature sensor, a damaged sensor lead, or a control board that has lost the sensor signal.

My Electrolux fridge is not holding temperature in the Dubai summer. Is it the gas?
Not necessarily, and it is worth resisting anyone who says that before looking. Poor cooling in July and August is very often airflow rather than refrigerant - a frosted evaporator, a failed fan, condenser coils packed with dust, or a door seal that no longer closes cleanly in a hot kitchen. If the display is showing F1 or F2, Electrolux describes that as a thermostat or temperature-sensing fault, which is a component-level repair rather than a gas job. A technician should confirm the cause before any sealed-system work is discussed.
Which Electrolux refrigerator error codes do you deal with?

Can you repair my Electrolux refrigerator if it is still under warranty?
If it is still inside Electrolux's own warranty, use Electrolux's service channel first — an independent repair may affect that cover. Once that warranty has ended, we repair it at your home, and our own 90-day warranty covers the parts we fit and the work we do.
Where is the model number on my Electrolux refrigerator?
Usually on a label inside the fresh-food compartment, usually on a side wall. Send a photo of that label on WhatsApp with what the refrigerator is doing and any code on the display — the model number tells us which parts fit before we arrive.
